Meet Sibora Halili ("Sibi") Founder of Ally — Alternative Therapy Online
Hi, my name is Sibora Halili. But you can call me Sibi, just like my friends do 🙂
And I am not a therapist. My background is in Digital Media Technologies. I worked in branding, positioning, design, websites and content creation. I used to spend my days in Vienna working with all sorts of companies, from small beauty brands to large corporate firms. Quite a workaholic, I have to admit.
Then everything changed with the birth of my first daughter seven years ago.
After a traumatic birth, I found myself struggling. When someone mentioned hypnotherapy, I rolled my eyes and thought, What kind of magic trick is this? No, thanks.
Eventually, I felt stuck enough to think, What do I have to lose? Let’s give it a go.
So I did.
Working with a trusted Hypnotherapist changed my life. It gave me tools I did not know existed: more influence over my own thoughts, beliefs and actions.
It sounds simple. Do we not all have power over our own thoughts?
Well, how often do you imagine the worst possible outcome? How often do you worry that whatever you do is not enough? Or you end up scrolling your time away because dealing with anything else feels like too much?
There are many things that could feel less overwhelming if we had more influence over how we respond to them.
The hypnotherapist I worked with helped me unlock that “Hell yes, I can handle whatever comes my way” spirit.
That shift was a huge gift in my life. When something helps you that much, you want to share it with the world.
From Hypnotherapy Marketing to ALLY
I made it my mission to change the stigma around hypnotherapy.
In 2020, I started Hypnotherapy Marketing to help practitioners define their purpose and reach the right people.
And I loved it. I worked one to one with some truly wonderful people. We found niches, shaped messages, wrote copy and built entire website funnels.
But I also hit a wall.
Building a complete digital presence for one practitioner takes time. My time costs money, so it can become a heavy investment for them too. And even when the funnel is finished, it still needs to be maintained and grown.
If we are really honest, most practitioners do not want another ongoing job in marketing. They want to focus on the work they are actually good at.
I completely agree.
When my second daughter was born in June 2025, my own time became tighter too.
So I asked myself, How can we solve this? For practioners and for me.
How can we create a digital presence that stays personal, manageable and affordable while creating more potential for everyone involved?
The answer was simple. Why build alone when we can build together?
In a small and carefully chosen group, practitioners can keep their own voice and independence. I can build one shared digital platform instead of a separate system for every person. That makes it possible for me to do the work well while having two children at home.
Together, we can create useful content, grow visibility and reach more people without every practitioner burning out on marketing.
Without wanting to sound cheesy, together we really are stronger.
People looking for support also get a more thoughtful choice they can trust. Not an endless list of anonymous names. Not an automated AI match. Not an app that leaves them to figure everything out by themselves.
I believe in the methods, whether that is hypnotherapy, kinesiology or energy work. But I do not believe this kind of work should happen without a human being involved. I believe the connection and energy we exchange can matter just as much as the method. Sometimes even more.
I believe change is co-created.
That is how ALLY was born.
🌱 The mission: create a small, trusted platform where hand picked alternative practitioners can be found by the people they are best suited to help.
P.S. Where did the name ALLY come from?
The name came to me more than I came up with it.
I was brainstorming and sketching in my notebook. Every figure I drew happened to be female.
That made me think about the energy behind ALLY. Warm, protective and caring. A little like mother energy.
And no, that does not mean every Ally has to be a woman!
Then the word “Ally” popped into my head.
At that time, I was in Ireland and listening to Alan Watts lectures at bedtime. I do not even remember how I came across them, but I found them very inspiring.
When I noticed that “Ally” had entered my mind while Alan was speaking in my ear, I thought, That cannot be a coincidence. That is a sign. Ally. Alan. Potato, potahto.
