Ally - Editorial Policy

ALLY publishes information about alternative therapy online and emotional wellbeing. This policy explains who creates our content, how practitioners contribute, and where ALLY’s role begins and ends.

Who writes our content

ALLY articles are written and edited by Sibora Halili, MA, BSc (“Sibi”), a designer and digital positioning specialist for alternative therapies online.

Sibi translates research, real search queries and practitioner experience into accessible content. She is not presented as a medical professional. Where specialist input is included, the contributing practitioner and their relevant qualifications are identified.

How we create and review articles

Our articles are informed by:

  • current research and original studies where available
  • reputable public-health and professional sources
  • written feedback or interviews with selected practitioners

Research-based statements are linked to their sources. Articles may also include editorial interpretation, practitioner experience and personal perspective; these are not presented as established medical facts or guaranteed outcomes.

Content is intended to inform and inspire—not to diagnose, prescribe or replace individual medical advice. It is reviewed when relevant research, guidance or featured practitioners change.

Sibi makes the final decisions about what ALLY publishes and how it is presented.

Payment for profile web space does not buy favourable coverage, practitioner approval or control over an article’s conclusions.

Our approach to alternative therapy online

ALLY focuses on complementary wellbeing support. Depending on the modality, sessions may involve guided relaxation, body awareness, subconscious pattern work, emotional regulation, breath, sound or energy-based practices.

These approaches are intended to support wellbeing and a steadier state of being. They are not presented as medical treatment, emergency care or a substitute for diagnosis, medication, psychotherapy or other care from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Terms such as energy, biofield, blockage or subconscious reprogramming describe modality-specific frameworks. They are not presented as established medical facts or guaranteed outcomes.

Independent practitioners and ALLY’s role

ALLY is a curated digital directory. We publish inspirational and educational content and help visitors discover independent practitioners who may fit what they are looking for.

Featured practitioners pay a flat monthly advertising fee for profile web space on ALLY. These are paid placements. ALLY does not take commissions, referral fees or transaction cuts from practitioner bookings.

Featured practitioners are independent service providers. They are not employees, agents or clinical representatives of ALLY. If you choose to book, the service agreement is directly between you and the practitioner. The practitioner is responsible for determining suitability, working within their scope of practice, setting fees, obtaining consent, protecting client information and delivering the service.

ALLY does not supervise sessions or guarantee a particular experience or result.

Platform limitations

ALLY does not host or process practitioner bookings, video sessions or client payments. Scheduling, session-related communication and financial transactions take place externally through the practitioner’s chosen systems and third-party platforms.

Data boundaries

ALLY does not request or maintain clinical notes, intake forms, treatment records or health histories. Information a visitor chooses to share in an initial enquiry is handled under ALLY’s published Privacy Policy. After an introduction, health and session information is managed by the independent practitioner under applicable privacy law and the practitioner’s own privacy terms.

Who can apply to be featured

Applications are open to appropriately trained complementary wellbeing practitioners, including:

  • clinical, solution-focused or integrative hypnotherapists
  • specialised kinesiologists and advanced kinesiology practitioners
  • professional EFT or tapping practitioners
  • Somatic Experiencing Practitioners (SEP)
  • trained sound meditation, sonic breathwork and relaxation facilitators
  • related body-led, subconscious or energy-based practitioners

Training titles and regulation differ by country. Being featured by ALLY is not the same as medical licensing or endorsement by a statutory regulator.

How practitioners are selected

We consider:

  • relevant training and evidence of qualifications
  • practical experience and a clear scope of practice
  • reliable reviews or references from verifiable sources
  • ethical communication without cure guarantees
  • character, purpose and fit with ALLY’s values
  • a one-to-one video interview with Sibi

Meeting the basic criteria does not guarantee acceptance. Our review is an administrative screening intended to maintain platform standards. It is not a clinical audit, medical endorsement, statutory licensing decision or guarantee of a practitioner’s competence, effectiveness or results.

Before booking, users should make their own assessment of a practitioner’s qualifications, professional status, insurance, privacy terms, scope of practice and personal fit. ALLY may decline or remove a listing at its discretion if it no longer meets platform standards.

How practitioners contribute

Practitioners may share specialist experience with Sibi by email, written Q&A or video interview. With clear permission, interviews may also be edited and published on YouTube or other video channels.

Contributors can review sections related to their experience, but ALLY makes the final publication and presentation decisions. Paying for profile space does not guarantee favourable editorial coverage. Relevant commercial or featured-practitioner relationships are disclosed where they could affect how readers understand the content.

Guest article proposals are welcome at help(at)alternative-therapy.online. Submission does not guarantee publication, and accepted contributions may be edited for clarity, accuracy and fit.

Medical and emergency disclaimer

ALLY content and featured services do not provide medical advice or emergency support. Reading an article does not create a medical, therapeutic or practitioner-client relationship with Sibi or ALLY.

If you are worried about a physical or mental health symptom, contact an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
