My Personal Birth Story

What I did NOT do beforehand
- Inform myself and prepare for different scenarios.
- Work on my birthing self-confidence and communicate with the team about what I wanted, how I felt, and insist on it.
Instead, just before the head was about to come out, the nurse asked me to lie down (when I really didn’t want to) so she could leave the room. I did it, and about one minute later, I was in the worst pain ever as the baby had turned, leading to the c-section. The problem was that I became the victim of circumstances rather than the one in charge.
Medical staff are there to serve us, not the other way around. Birth is a miracle that deserves the utmost respect and support in a loving way.
Months later, I processed everything with the help of an alternative therapist specializing in birth trauma. I released all the pent-up emotions and blocks and was able to feel again, relax, and move on in life. I reframed the birth experience into something positive that I could learn from.
Today, I want to help you avoid these mistakes. Start prepared, take control, and don’t let fear dictate your journey. Empower yourself and your baby to embrace birth with calm, confidence, love, and joy!
